I think that Revelation should be scored separately because it's DLC, but separating out Black/White is just dumb.

They're different approaches to the Fire Emblem franchise, so it makes perfect sense to review them separately.

If the point of the review is to inform people about whether or not they should buy the game, you can't inform people about whether they should buy conquest by playing Birthright, because you can't really say anything about whether or not the difficulty is too unforgiving for newer players.

If you have to play both to be able to review them, then it makes perfect sense to review them separately.

Different approaches is a very nice way of saying different difficulties. It's two perspectives on the same events.

It'd be like reviewing a Saga or Suikoden several times because there are multiple campaign where you get a different side of the story.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

There is alot more to it than just  that, hence why the games are compared more to LoZ Gameboy games

Which means different characters, different relationships between characters, different plot, different POV, different dialogues, and it has like 20 exclusive levels and 50 exclusive characters. It's not just a difficulty adjust. It's obviously a different experience. That's a fact. People can find questionable the decision of split them in two different games and not in the same package, but the experiences are not the same. I'm starting to think that you're just flaming and you don't know what the games are about.

I think you should update the OP and the title with Meta score.

It's literally more akin to OoS and OoA than what you are saying.

There are several different maps, several different characters and completely different stories. You're basically saying it's the Hector/Eliwood routes from FE7 in the style of part 3 in Radiant Dawn

You are really uninformed about the subject.

Fire Emblem 7's Eliwood and Hector campaigns are what you believe Birthright and Conquest to be.

Good point. Forgot about that!

87 Birthright

89 Conquest

And 2 9/10 reviews for Revelation, so no Meta yet.

No problem

Conquest: 89 with 6 reviews
Birthright: 87 with 5 reviews
Special Edition: 88 with 12 reviews

I think that reading the reviews I'll go for the 3 games when they come in Europe. I was doubting about buying Revelation, but it seems like it's fucking good.

Pretty good
