If it was stated as such then there would be no issue. The post I replied to was not written so politely.

If you plan to continue to debate the topic, do so with actual points and evidence. Dismissing someone's post as "garbage" does not add to the conversation.

Yes. Because all of these other points about PR spin really add to the conversation. I guess I'm done here then. Jesus.

They add a lot more than attacking people does.

Any word about digital sales?

Not as far as I'm aware, they were just talking about revenue.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Coolbeans without numbers those top ten charts mean nothing. Think about it you have 40 million people playing ps4 and 20 million on x1 or whatever it is for example. If the top ten charts are both full of season passes and x1 community is making more money than the ps4 community what does that tell you. Make sense now? That would mean less people on ps are buying "season pass bs"

Like hell they mean nothing.  You're talking about a boatload of people across US/EU/Asia regions with access to PSN Store and its add-ons.  And when the trends consistently suggest Season Passes are 'a11 dah r@ge' there too that goes against your original argument.  People seem to forget that with stuff like PS4's time exclusivity deals for stuff like COD is has the potential to draw in the dudebro trogolodytes as well.

While this is something more reasonable and nuanced to consider, you're now just moving the goalposts from your original argument.  Again, look at your first statement to see why I responded the way I have.

I haven't moved the post goals, you've failed to give me any numbers. This is like getting blood out of stone xD I can't believe I'm still replying to you.

So perhaps Xbox user are older betwenn 18-30 and they have a job

You don't need a statistics degree to understand why this faulty article's 88% figure is utter bollocks. You don't even really have to understand how "userbases" work.

Consider the basic case: The only way for PS4 to meet this imaginary metric is if the demographics of the PS4 and the XB1 we're completely identical. If the demographics we're identical, then the size of the userbases would be roughly equal AND distributed equally world wide. Both of which are not the case.

ERGO: The PS4 and XB1 would have around the exact same number of sales, 37 Million = 20 Million

Consider the distribution case: PS4 trumps XB1 in Japan, ROW, and Europe, XB1 is slightly higher in Latin America, and the two are basically equal everywhere else. Unless every country felt the exact same about Ubisoft games, it would again be skewed by regional diferences.

If this faulty article really want to get somewhere, it would use 1 region only. Comparing the two on such unequal terms on a biased metric is obviously going to give it a biased (unreliable) result.
