Wright isn't a woman, he's just a little bitch! There's a difference.
It's actually quite sad that woman have to hide there gender to avoid being harassed. It's quite brave for woman like Onion & PwerlvlAmy to even upload their pictures.
I've honestly never cared about the genders here, we're all just people talking about games and sales.

hm.. here in germany female otakus are actually more numerous and more visible (cosplay culture), but the interest in a video game sales site seems to be extremely low
they do dominate the german otaku community sites

It's totally different, women hardly harass men. I haven't experienced first hand because I'm not a woman (or am I) but men pester the shit out of any woman in any online enviorment. PS home was a good example of woman (or boys pretending to be woman) being harassed. I'm not sure how bad it is here but judging by some of the comments of women hiding their gender, it must be bad enough for them to hide their gender.

I am here because is an active videogame forum and community. I do avoid threads about feminist and the likes because I understand that this site is mostly used by males and they can't really understand those issues.
I've honestly never thought about hiding or not my gender, it just never came up in the convos I've had here. And threads like this don't encourage or discourage me to post more or less.

I think you are confusing bravery with attention seeking.
Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.
