Anyways, changing a little the subject, is it just me being not used to the WiiU controllers or was the original NES control more responsive than the Wii U ones?? I often fall from ledges and miss walk over edges all the time ...(I believe just a few gamers can answer this quiestion lol)

Mario Maker uses the base NSMBU physics for all game styles, maybe that's what feels different.

The big difference is the input lag between playing on a NES on a CRT and via HDMI on a flatscreen. That's why you think it's harder to play Mario Maker levels than Super Mario Bros. on NES. It's not a matter of the controller imo. Tropical Freeze should even be harder to play...

A few days ago I played some games on the Atari 2600 on a modern TV and it was hard as hell (of course I deactivated all image optimizing functions). Back on a CRT it was a lot easier...

Congrats on your purchase. I don't have any problems with the controller, but I use the gamepad so maybe that is why.. :/

Congrats!

Hope Splatoon is on your future games list

Already have it. Came with the console, call me weird, but it wasnt my hit. I kinda want to try Hyrule warriors, but first, need to get used to this new controller screen thing hehehe. Ive just ordered a bigger battery for the gamepad since I cant stand recharging often. Im taking this new (not new but kinda) experience slow.

Try Splatoon with analog controls and try all the different weapons. The normal shooting isn't for me, but the blasters and rollers are.

Make sure to check out the gems it has like Bayonetta 2 and The Wonderful 101. You will probably find a lot more out of the system then you initially expected.

Oh and don't forget Xenoblade X if RPGs are your thing.

Anyways congrats! Hope you enjoy the console as much as I enjoy mine. (Which is a lot)

Congrats.

The Wii U is a system that doesnt deserve the hate. It has few games, but extremely good ones. The gamepad gets alot of hate... but look at me laying in bed and posting on VGC. My Wii U browser gets extensive use. Be it for surfing the web/forums or to watch anime on TV without having to go through the trouble of downloading it. Directly streams on your TV. The incorporated remote on the gamepad also helps clearing the ammpunt of gadgets you need to control everything.

It's a handy system. Games look great, but everyone loves to hate it because there were all these marketing problems with it. Its not unlike the Vita, but the Wii U is actually better comparetively because the Vita browser got worse as time went by.

How can anyone hate the Wii U or the gamepad?

I the last console I had from Nintendo  before the Wii U was the Super Nintendo and now...

Fat chance. According to the developers the latency is 1/60 of a second or 17ms

Try enabling "game mode" on your TV. Most TVs have insane latency unless you have this mode on.

Wow, Im an IT and Telecommunications engineer, and I know a lot about TVs because Ive bought a lot hehe, but never knew what was the advantage of this mode till now. I always set it to be with smooth motion (120 Hz, 240 Hz and such) without knowing this was the cause for that hell of delay... Ill try it as soon as Im back at home.

Thx for the tip hehehe, everyday you learn something new
