Edit: double post.

It makes sense since they're running away from a whole empire. They most likely don't wear armor in a normal casual day since they are royalty(not to mention the setting is based on modern times not medieval). So far the story suggests the army just attacked their city and they are forced to flee from them, not really much time to wear armor if that was the case. |
Yes true, I meant it more in the way that they could either charge into the base in their current condition or choose stealth instead, which realistically would give them a better chance.
A mix of fantasy and reality with a bit more reality this time around

Oh ok. lol. Sorry for misunderstanding a bit. And yes, stealth is pretty much most recommended in those situations.

No problem

Hang on edges like shown in the trailers ;o! Or as a offensive attack to get a enemy from long range. |
My sentence structure was poor. I was referring to stealth when I'm not sure how it'll translate to open field.
It's optional so I don't know why people even care that it's in. Plus 7 had it as well.

Pretty sure you could just warp around while running like StarFox would; jumping ahead and stuff.
You can warp to dodge on the ground, you can warp to vantage points up above (maybe to get treasure chests), you can warp-attack enemies etc

If I remember right - in the demo you can warp even during battle and in the field. I should play more of the demo before they do their special event. |
Damn at least he didn't have to correct both of us XD whoops
Well you can always crouch, move slowly and stay out of line-of-sight so the enemy encounter bar doesn't fill up. I think that is as far as field-stealth goes
I liked it but the games poly looks a bit weird. Hyped for this though!
It definitely adds a more tactical option to how someone might deal with a dungeon or with a troublesome foe. For me, it's a lot of fun to sneak around and catch an opponent unaware. It's welcomed change in my opinion.
