The PS5 Exists.
looks like the pricing was right after all - the enthusiastic puzzle game niche will pay $40 for a large scale puzzle game with superb ratings and from an acclaimed dev
while others might jump in when the game is on sale and even on sale they can generate a lot of revenue/profit as they don't drop to $5 or lower any time soon
Very cool. Shame the PC side is being overun by piracy but that is the state of PC gaming these days for alot of games. Will probably come to Xbox 1 down the track to help gain more funds for the next game. Is there a physical version planned?

Should have skipped PC altogether really and gotten Sony to give it a promotional push in return for full exclusivity. But the game looks to be very successful in its current configuration so it's all good. Chances are those people pirating the game would have never have paid for it anyway but without such methods the sales would have been much higher.
Great sales. 40$ for an indie puzzler was a gamble, but it seems that it payed off.

$40US is alot for an Indie game. I have gotten AAA games brand new(physical) for about the same on launch day. But I would much rather pay $40 for The Witness than another COD/AC/Destiny/Battlefield etc.
This game isn't for everyone but for the people it's aimed at, $40/£30 is worth it. Glad to see it selling well.
