This. I'm not really annoyed about it for the most part, though I think we should disable gif's from sigs. They make the site a pain to load, and some can be annoying as well.

the reality is the only times you should be browsing things on your phone or computer like this site at work or school is when A) you have free time and are relatively alone or B) when you're not supposed to be doing something else

I don't think any workplace would find a site like this bothersome at all, suggestive avatars are nothing

if you're a student you really shouldn't even be fulling around on your phone at school constantly and you must go to a particularly odd school if a site like this would actually offend or bother anyone when kids curse, throw things, skip class, etc. (i.e. its such a small thing who cares)

Someone already said it, but if you're in a situation where you need to be careful about what people might see...you should probably be careful about what people see. I know I sometimes poke around in here during the workday, and if someone on my team saw it I would only blame myself for how I'm spending my time.

That being said...there obviously is a line somewhere. I'd rather not see actual pornography or gore in signatures...but banning something from a popular anime or TV show is a bit ridiculous. I remember leaving one of my old forums after I had an ecchi Fairy Tail signature removed, despite it being from shounen manga that targets kids/teenagers. There are a lot of avs/sigs that I'm not comfortable with here, but that doesn't give me the right to push my opinion on the whole community.

I think it all really comes down to common sense..which I trust the mod team on.

I'm with you on that. It's annoying having to look over your shoulder while browsing here. I've actually turned signatures off because of it
