NX will launch November 2017. Their 5 -6 year plan has been true since the 90s, not going to change anytime soon.

The second half of 2016 refers to the period between July 1st and December 31st. 

AMD do have a semi custom win due to start production during this period. It is rumoured that this would be the latest video games console from Nintendo but of course AMD have refused to reveal their client. So as this is ramping up production in H2 it's likely this device will start start shipping to consumers in late 2016 or very early 2017. 

It is not confirmed that the device is a Nintendo console but it makes sense. 

Nah... NX won't come this year.

All of these leaks will hopefully force Nintendo's hand to show the damn thing soon! There is so much speculation out there you would think that the pressure as well as the opportunity to make a splash would entice them to reveal it. Hopefully the reveal is coming sooner rather than later considering how many pieces of news have come out just today, it's unbelievable!

Nah, Nintendo still has to try and milk as much sales as they can out of the Wii U and 3DS before the Japanese fiscal year ends.

Still is a rumor, so it's not really confirmed or anything...

will be interesting to see whether Nintendo went with the new Zen/Polaris architectures or used older ones for their new APU - the promised breakthroughs in efficiency probably point towards the new ones, especially if Nintendo uses it in a new handheld platform

Everything that's happening right now was well planned. With every little leak, the hype is rising. Nintendo is looking to maximize hype and then add some more with an official announcement. They learnt from what Sony did with the PS4. Just say nothing at all, let the internet do the marketing for you and then come out of nowhere with a big bang. It just works.

Anyway, don't worry, you'll see NX before E3.
