PSP.

It had like 6 or 7 very good games at launch, they all stood for a very long time alone.

1.- Dreamcast
2.- NES
3.- Wii
4.- PS2
5.- GBA

wii

Nintendo Network ID: Sherlock99

I'd just like to point out how crazy it was that the N64 only had 2 games at launch.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Around the Network

1- Dreamcast. It looks like Dreamcast had the best launch line-up overall with games like Soul Calibur, Sonic Adventure, and House of the Dead 2
2-Wii
3-NES
4-PS2
5-GBA

You think that's crazy? SNES was the market leader and released three launch titles only at first. Granted they were three quality titles same as N64's two, but imagine a console trying to launch with 2-3 titles nowadays. Saturn I can understand because it's well known they jumped the gun and retailed the console early. Nintendo was just plain crazy back in the 90s.

BTW, here's the link to the wikipedia page I got most of my info from:

Call me crazy for choosing the original xbox for number one, but I can't think of a single game that I have played so many hours and enjoyed so much. I also really enjoyed DOA 3 and I heard good things about Project Gotham Racing.

I'll go and say GBA ... great games for launch

My mind has changed. My strength has not.    Kamahl, Fist of Krosa

1. NES - Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt is a killer combo straight out of the blocks.

2. Wii - Wii Sports, like I said in my original thread, is a perfect demonstration of Wii's potential, however, Twilight Princess, despite being an excellent game, is a Gamecube port.

3. Gameboy

4. Xbox

5. N64 - Wasn't Shadows of the Empire a launch title for the N64? In combination with Mario 64 and Pilotwings, it still deserves a spot on my list.
