But if someone wasn't interested in Wii U to begin with than why the hell did they buy one over a year before the only game they were interested in released? That literally means they had a useless $300 box sitting around their house for over a year.

June 2014 to March 2015 (less than a year) Zelda U was coming out in 2015. How is it a consumer problem exactly?

Stop answering questions with questions, give a straight answer first and then proceed to ask ur own question.

Why would somebody spend $300 on a piece of hardware they werent interested in knowing that it wouldn't get used for 8-17 months (roughly one year)?

It is absolutely illogical to spend hundreds of dollars on something that won't get used for a year, that is called being unwise with money, it's not Nintendo's fault that people buy things they don't want.

if NX is a minimal upgrade from the Wii U, then it doesn't make sense for the Wii U owners to buy NX.

Definitely will not be minimal upgrade to Wii U, it will very pretty different from Wii/Wii U.

Doesn't fix the fact that the damage will be done. Period.

Which in turn will bring less consumer confidence in their hardware.

Again, those people still get to play the game and why would any person spend $300 on a device they didn't plan to use for 8-17 months? If u bought a console for one specific game that wasn't planned to be released for roughly a year, that's ur problem, not Nintendo's.

So people being fooled into buying a product they didn't care for, for a game that will release on another platform is the peoples problem, lol. Sorry, you are wrong.

Yet again you are talking about Zelda, I'm talking about Nintendo hardware. Please stay focused.

Nobody was fooled, Nintendo said the game was coming to Wii U and the game is still coming to Wii U, as long as the game releases on Wii U than Nintendo lived up to their end of the deal.

People shouldn't spend money on products they don't care for, that is a consumer problem, not Nintendo's.

Again it makes no sense to but a console a year before u plan to use it. It is absolutely stupid, buy the console when the game u want releases and u never have to deal with these self induced problems.

And this is the problem. Before the NX was announced, and before it was supposed to release LoZ was supposed to release on Wii U. It's not the consumers problem, it's Nintendo's problem.

Saying it's the consumers problem for believing Nintendo is 100% my point.

With dual release game will certainly sell few millions more than on Wii U alone, and definitely will effect on NX launch. Basically two things from Nintendo will profit in big way, it clear business sense, and basically dont have one negative thing doing that, also we already saw something similar with TP.

Few millions more? You are again over exaggerating with nothing that would support this statement.

I don't exaggerating at all, Zelda U is coming basically at end of Wii U life and when next platform is arriving, that means very short life of game on WIi U, on Wii U could sell around 3m, but on NX could sell at least same number, because like NX launch will have huge effect and game itself would sell hole NX life span, while Wii U will basicly be dead after NX and Zelda U launch.

Also you have TP Zelda sale numbers, and where Wii TP sale numbers are far more higher than GC sales numbers, even Wii TP having higher attach rate than GC.

Also you alredy having Tp

Wii U fans honestly should stop complaining.

This console is a miserable failure. It's *barely* at half of what the GameCube finished at in the back half of its life cycle and wheezing like a fat kid trying to make it up a flight of stairs. The market has overwhelmingly rejected this console. It's going to be remembered as nothing but a failure.

OK? We clear?

You guys should be grateful for whatever support it gets from here on out, if this console was made by any other company they would have DITCHED you guys about a year ago (see: Vita, Sony). Sony would have. Microsoft would have. Sega would have. Any other company would have.

Be happy that you're still getting games like Star Fox and freaking Zelda at all, let alone asking for Zelda to not be put on NX.

This is like asking for a massage and spa service at a three star hotel ... this is a shitty situation, just enjoy what you're getting instead of acting like you're in a five star hotel where you're going to get 80 flavors of ice cream. Ain't happening. When a console sells this bad and it's still getting solid support in year 4 from the console maker ... that's a damn miracle in and of itself.

There are a lot of determining factors which we can bet avatar control over when the time comes.

There is no damage done by releasing Zelda as a cross-gen title, it's a non issue to everybody but a select few vocal people on the internet.

So you are saying I'm completely right. We should not put our confidence in Nintendo hardware if Zelda U goes to NX.
