^ What's worse is that most consumers that have amiibo are probably not interested in actually using them for gameplay experience. Just for the fact that they can have figures of characters that may or may not be given the chance of being a figure prior to amiibo (i.e., characters from small franchises, Rosalina, Wario, etc.)

2 bad to average games in 3 months, around the same timespan when they released Yoshi's Woolly World, Fast Racing Neo, and Xenoblade Chronicles, 3 great to REALLY great games.
Not including the other great games they've got coming this year for Wii U. AND not including the 3DS side of things.
There is not a video game company in existence that hasn't released a bad game. Every company stumbles sometimes, and Nintendo is stumbling a bit right now. But fallen? Hardly.
If they fuck up one of their BIG titles like Zelda, Pokemon, or Smash Bros. Or if they put a Konami on some of their greatest developers and staff like Miyamoto or Sakurai THEN we can say they've fallen. This is not falling

The Captain Falcon and Zerio Suit Samus figures are really the only pieces of merchandise that I've seen related to F-Zero or Metroid.

I dont think this is the BIG amiibo game that Nintendo will make. Since they just announced this and didn't even showed on E3 or on their directs.

That's okay, the game still crashed and burned. Thank goodness.

Also, the game is free. I'll probably download it once it comes out.

Im expecting tonnes more threads on people hating the shit out of this game and what it could lead to and using it as for their hatred on Nintendo. 

I don't understand hate of some people, it's free and small game.
