I am a Nintendo fan, however I am not a Pokémon fan. Digimon has always been one of my favorite franchises and I find it by far more engaging as a series. I happen to have a PS4, however I hesitate to get this game. Digimon World DS was great, but the one that came after it that had two versions was very off-putting. I'd hesitate to buy another Digimon game on a Nintendo platform. The only thing that makes this interesting is that it seems that you work with Gallantmon, Omnimon, and the fact Examon seem to have an impact on the game. They should really expand the story of the Royal Knights like they did in the Digimon movie X Evolution.

All that said, I've gotta be honest, this question seems somewhat strange. It's akin to asking something like Smash Bros fans if they are hyped for a new installment of PSASBR

I like both Pokémon and Digimon. Provided that it is decent, I would definitely pick up a Digimon game if it came to the 3DS in North America.

It proved the opposite for me. It was the last vita game coming out I wanted, and then they decided on a ps4 version for the west. In fact now pretty much every vita game coming in the future is on PS4 too which shows you publishers are losing faith in the device. 

To answer op, yes I am getting it, but it has nothing to do with being a Nintendo fan.
