Rise of Tomb Raider should be selling wildly that game is amazing. M$ and Xbox giving Crystal Dynamics the shaft.

How much was the Xbox360 at at this time?
Someguy on Neogaf says it was 17.7m so this is confirmation XB1 is over that.

It should be over that, by this point. I'm thinking it ended 2015 between 19 and 20 million.

Is that because of VGC estimates? Neogaf is saying 18-19m range.

In fairness, over a million can mean 2, 3, or even 4 million. Without the numbers, there's really no way to know.

They probably thought putting tomb raider in the same light as halo would make it look more successful..... With PR spinning...

Either they just decided to change that policy, due to a shift in power, or they are truly taking an enormously sound beating to the PS4 and just don't want to highlight it.

If they announced they where at like 18.2m and the next day Sony comes out and says the PS4 is at 36m, it looks bad.

Its too close to that 2:1 ratio, which will spawn news headlines saying PS4 outsold XB1, 2 to 1.

Every game on X1 flops, every exclusive should be on PS4, and MS should go 3rd party. That's most forums in a nutshell.

Oh well, for what its worth X1 has become a viable platform.

Probably shipped IMO (MS doesn't give "sold through" numbers anymore, do they?), so the numbers are a bit tricky to analyze with the holidays (you can have a lot of shipped games for a "flop" and few games sold to consumers).

Well in regard to Tomb Raider, VGChartz is already tracking it at about 900k combined. Then consider digital sales are more relevant than ever.

So... a million units sold is likely.
