I have a laptop so I don't use any console's browser. *shrugs*

I know right? If I'm too lazy to go and get my laptop there's always my trusty iphone 5s... I don't really get the point of browsing on consoles :-3

Nearly every post I have ever made on this site has come from a PS3, PS4, PSP, or PS Vita. I love the console browsing experience. I even sold off my PC and Smartphone last years as they had become redundent.

Hope more and more people start moving from PC to consoles for web browsing. It is a much better experience, and much more convienent.

How is browsing on a Playstation a much better and much more convenient experience than on PC? Just out of curiousity.

Maybe he uses a keyboard and mouse on his PS4? XD

Yeah, I've tried browsing with a gamepad; it's awful at best.

I literally play games or watch tv while my laptop is on my lap. It just works better for me and it's more convenient.

I rarely ever use my game consoles for anything besides playing games. I'll occasionally stream stuff through Amazon Prime on there, though.

PS4 is always on and always up to date, and I don't have to go to another room or location. I know my situation is not the same as most, but my PC was always shut down, so anytime I would use it just to surf the web, it would need to do Nvidia Updates, Steam Updates, EA Access Updates, Windows Updates, Norton updates, and on, and on, and on. It just became such a hassel to use, I just stopped using it all together.

The only things I miss from the PC is the PDF support, and the ability to have more than 3 windows open.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

Hmm, must be because you hardly ever use it. I've had two Nvidia driver updates (with a third pending), one AVG update and only a handful of windows update that required a restart (and even then you can update as you turn it off for the night) since I bought my new rig in July. Steam updates, Origin, GOG and similar things are always automatic for me so I hardly even notice that they happen. Surfing and generally doing anything desktop or gaming related is lightning quick for me (then again, I have SSD discs both for games and system and some ridiculous hardware).

Do you per chance have old windows and a really slow laptop? My laptop is terribly slow with updates most of the time. The first thing you want to do when getting a laptop is uninstalling absolutely everything the manufacturer installed on it from scratch since it mostly serves no purpose and slows down windows a great deal.

If one spends a lot of time on the console and prefer the interface, I could see your points for sure, but on average I find it difficult to believe that browsing on consoles is more convenient, especially more so than a mobile laptop or a computer that actually works like it's supposed to.

WiiU's browser is amazing. Gamepad makes typing very fast and simple, d-pad is painful! Hope NX gets a similar setup.
