You could say it doesn't Reach target performance

Ugh, laugh track comedies so unfunny.  I'm glad they are mostly a thing of the past now.

I think it's the same unplayable as 900p unplayable...

Only to specific people

PS2 and Wii did BC perfectly, aside from a tiny number of games not working. XB1 BC isn't that great since only a few titles work and lots of titles I'd want probably won't get added like blue dragon, eternal sonata, and other early Japan 360 games.

Well lets wait and see. The list is growing and MS is really going out of their way to get publishers on board.

Namco, Sega, and Square Enix are already putting content on the service. Spencer wants multi disc titles supported. So maybe JRPGs will be added eventually. There are numerous JRPGs that are single disc as well.

better than some cheap porting

For this game inparticular... I want the port like MCC.

But hey, this is better than nothing and free assuming you already own the game.

And thats why BC is nowhere near to be a killer app people.

Remasters are amirite

Buy your owned games again aswell

As a former 360 owner I'm loving the remasters and I hope they keep doing it.

Microsoft responded to Kotaku's approach on Halo; Reach showing frame rate problems when being played with Xbone backwards compatibility:

- a spokesperson said to Kotaku:

“We’re aware some users are experiencing issues playing Halo: Reach via Xbox One Backward Compatibility,”

“The Xbox engineering team is currently looking into the issues and are working to address them.”

What? Explain please because that only sounded small and petty. Why wouldn't you be glad if BC works fine?

OT: The game studders a lot more than its 360 counterpart (which do studder sometime), but its far from unplayable. Oversensitive reviewers is my guess :).

I'm glad BC works. I'm also a known hater of Halo: Reach, so I'm glad that game doesn't work.

Ah, ok :).

Just give us a proper "Halo Reach Remastered" (stand-alone or as DLC for Halo MCC or Halo 5), so we can complete our Halo-FPS-collection on Xbox One!

And you remaster folks are a minority

I hope instead of remasters we get new proper games

REQUIESCAT IN PACE

I Hate REMASTERS

I Hate PLAYSTATION PLUS

There is no "instead". The making of a port/remaster doesn't take away resources of new games.

With popular titles (like Halo Reach) the port pays for itself, so financing it (additional to new games) is no problem. And it can be done by another developer.
