Nintendo really are the masters of details.

Like someone said in the video comments: "Horizon looks photo realistic, but the physics are cartoonish. On the other Hand Breath of the wild looks like a Cartoon, but the physics are realistic."

Wow! Obviously the hzd ps4 graphics are much better than Zelda, thought Zelda graphics are still fantastic. But good lord zelda is soooooo much better made! So much more attention to detail and realistic! The difference between the two is pretty shocking.

Cool, interesting videos.

Zelda is pretty amazing in the physics, effects, AI and animation department due to this set of 'laws of nature' they created. I'd struggle to think of another game that feels so "real" and "alive" as Breath of the Wild does. I do agree that Horizon is able to paint a prettier picture on screen though. Zelda can look great at times but it fully depends on time of day and location.

Are you under the impression this thread is a WW2 reenactment?

lol I dont know why theres such a competition between these two games.

The real winners are the people who enjoy both of the games. They get it all.

Zelda combat against enemies is mediocre though. This is where Horizon shines, the fights against robots are ten times better well done than in the simplistic fights in Zelda.

Zelda is focused on exploration when Horizon focus is on fight against the machines.

The attention to detail in BotW is great!..

I want more though. I await eagerly what modders will do once this game comes to PC.

Well we're only one week later since you posted that but let me correct that 3rd point you made.

3. With the sales number for horizon and Zelda; horizon isn't ahead of Zelda. And going forward it doesn't seem likely that it will ever catch up to BOTW. Good effort by HZD but in this case install base doesn't matter that much.

According to this website 

Horizon Zero Dawn - 18 days on the market - sold 2,355,000

Breath of the wild - 16 days on the market - sold 2,384,000

These figures don't back your statement...care to elaborate or provide  link or something?

Well we KNOW(http://www.polygon.com/2017/3/16/14945792/horizon-zero-dawn-launch-sales-ps4) that HZD sold more than 2.6 million in the first 2 weeks so that alone should tell you the sales numbers don't include digital. Just pointing that out so you could know where Leo-J was coming from.

BOTW sales don't include digital either though.
