They are going to do this more than likely. It is easy for consumers to remember.

If that's the case, they should have done that from the very beginning. Cause thats just going to confuse ppl even more. Not to mention, that goes against why Microsoft didn't call the 360 the Xbox two cause it would have sounded inferior to the PS3. Reason for the "360" name.

That will sound even worse having a product called Xbox two going up against a PlayStation 5. Ppl will feel like it's three gens behind the ps5, thus being technologically inferior.

It's like cellphones, Samsung and Apple are close in numbers with the iPhone 6 and the Galaxy 5. But what if it was a galaxy 2 against an iPhone 6? That doesn't sound too appealing as a consumer.

I really can't see Microsoft calling it Xbox two.

Since they already said they already had a Windows One, perhaps the next Xbox will be the Xbox 10?

Now that's just dumb too. Not you, the naming concept. The numbered ps consoles might be a bit boring, but it also makes it easy to reference and remember when discussing or buying them.

Xbox 4K would be a better name since 4K tvs would be more adopted by then plus it would be the 4th Xbox. But who knows. Hopefully it's a better name than what they have now.

I like the simple way of doing it.
name of system +  number of system.

I think Nintendo would be more popular today if they named their products just strait up Nitendo entertainment system 1,2,3,4 ect. (NES 1,2,3,4).

I think Xbox has learned this, but dont want to look too much like the playstation so they re doing it spelled out.
Xbox One, two, three, four ect.

Super nintendo entertainement system is cool because it's super. Megadrive is awesome (and sounds cooler than genesis. Yes, I went there). Gamecube sounds cool. Playstation sounds really cool as well. Wii doesn't sound cool but it's short and simple, and nice to say. Game gear sounds really cool as well. Atari 2600 sounds cool. Atari jaguar sounds fucking awesome. Saturn and dreamcast as well.

Xbox 360 sounds kinda confusing. And wii u is just clownishly stupid. Game boy is a really weird system name if you think about it. Intellivision and colecovision both sound kinda nerdish. Virtual boy is just a clusterfuck of a name. Like the system.

I LOVE ICELAND!

Xbox 4K sounds odd... I can see them using the Azure name instead...

That's boring... I was talking to a friend the other day and he told me that at some point, FF will hit the 20s and it will start sounding ludicrous...

They don't call it the Wii no U for nothing...

Worst: Xbox One, Wii U
Best: Dreamcast, Gamecube

Currently Playing: N/A

Anime and Studying is life RN

Best name is the GameCube and the worst one is easily the WiiU. Thank God Nintendo is moving away from that!
