Forums - Movies & TV - Batman v Superman Trailer 2.. warning its like the entire movie compressed in 3 minutes

Holy shit.

Wish I hadn't seen that trailer. I'm a DC fanboy and while I should be shooting my load I'm pretty disappointed. Should be a fun movie but once again, I'm going to be let down.

Well they certainly showed a lot. None of it any good either.

I'm a fan of Ben Affleck though. He looks like he's going to play the character just fine. Other than that, way too effects driven and I'm not a fan of Snyder at all.

Yeah the last trailer was much better this makes it look shit tbh

Damnit. Another trailer that tells the entire movie. I think I'll skip it for now.

I like the actors, kind of hate the director.

Why has Nolan forsaken us? I mean he obviously mailed in TDKR, perhaps he was just bored with making superhero stuff. But jeez. Even bored Nolan is 1000x better than Snyder.

Ah well. I hope it's decent anyway.

A final note, Ben Affleck is even a better director than Snyder. Gone Baby Gone, The Town, Argo, the dude is a decent actor but an actually near-elite director imho.

Haven't seen gone baby gone I have argo on my media center but haven't watched it either guess I got things to do this weekend.

So now I don't need pay for the movie as I have just seen the entire thing... Why would they show EVERY single thing in the trailer? What is left for the viewer to be surprised/amazed at?

My supes lore isn't that great, but is that supposed to be doomsday?

Are they really gonna fuck up Doomsday this early?

If memory serves in the comics Doomsday was a Kryptonian who had thousand sof horrendous experiments done on him long ago and "evolved" to be a monstorus killing machine nearly impossible to kill.  He became too strong and was imprisoned and sent into space...and somehow landed on Earth.  He bashed  abunch of heroes and "killed" Superman.

So, using Zod's DNA is actually not a terrible idea if they want to avoid bringing in space stuff right now.

Overall though, something about the tone of this film feels a bit off.  I'm going to see it, but mixed feelings about how they're handling Superman and the DC Universe.

So metropolis explodes again?

i just cant get excited for this movie. and why does batman have a gun?

also it looks like superman is going to destory the city again, even when fighting batman

Loving the trailer except I dislike the actor playing as Lex, just doesn't seem to fit well at all.
