I'm still suspicious of that. I hope Amazon hasn't started doing sponsor-influenced rankings like other sites.

What it shows is that the NDB was popular not just because of price. It also shows that the UC4 multiplayer was playing and now is playing a major role in promoting the bundle. We also still have price parity so there's no reason to assume anything would change. The only thing that's surprised me is the popularity of the NDB. Sony did say they believed the NDB was a system seller and looking at the way it's performing, I have no reason to doubt them.

Well there is some hazyness. Amazon has an formula to to best selling charts. Its not as simple as this sold more than that. But we dont know their formula so we really cant speculate on what effect it has.

psn- tokila

add me, the more the merrier.

December monthly is up
Wii U #1

SW bundle at 11 and NDC at 16. Told you the hourlies weren't right. At price parity, SW > NDC without a doubt.

It's still under the effect of BF and CM traffic, NDC is selling lower than what we see, SW is more, X1 much less, and Wii U had the best sales thanks to the temporary cut.

X1 at 39 and 40

That's odd, but you really believe (given it's clearly slightly wrong) that the WiiU is at #1 in the US? For me, it shows there's something wrong with the monthlies, not that hourlies.

Weird. No point looking at the hourly chart right now then. Lets see what the PS4 consoles do when the price goes down.

Do you really think the WiiU is outselling the PS4 and the XB1 in the US? It's the monthlies we should be questioning, not the hourlies.

Wasn't the Wii U cut only on Amazon? At least this specific one during this specific timeframe. It's easily explained by that. This monthly is a monthly picture for PS4 and X1 nationwide, while for Wii U it's heavily inflated by the cut and therefore not representative of it's US performance. Pretty simple to me.

I'm positively baffled at how the hourly charts work now :-3. I mean, when we know that the Wii U was the bestselling item since tuesday, while the PS4 has been the #1 item on the hourlies all the time, that would mean the hourlies are a running average of 5 days+. That, or there's some other, non-sales related stuff factoring in. Or they are starting to do advertisement-based charts :-/

Oh and OP updated with monthly numbers.

Well it must still be selling well given how quickly it got to #10 on the yearly chart. It has been climbing that chart faster than the Star Wars bundle, and that is way back at #92.

Obviously, but that is mostly attributed to Black Friday and Cyber Monday I think. Not sales in december.
