This was too perfect! He is one of the worst Nintendo characters ever created, alongside Waluigi. |
An Uncle Scrooge rip-off cannot be a bad character.

Nintendo will show some footage of Zelda U, A.K.A The Legend of Zelda: Cranky Kong's Wrath.

Sorry, I was thinkingof the 2013 Game Awards. It wasn't Nintendo specifically but the event as a whole was an horrible. I still feel that is Nintendo is going to reveal something big then they will do it at E3. More people will pay attention to E3 than the Game Awards. |
Yeah, the 2013 VGAs were absolutely atrocious. That's why the VGAs are no longer a thing and The Game Awards are an independent show. The Game Awards last year was actually a good show. Not perfect and some awards were a bit trite, but it was cool. Felt like an actual celebration of the genre featuring people from the industry, media, and communities who actually give a crap. Not perfect, but at least it felt genuine.
"Nintendo will show stuff at The Game Awards" LMAOOOOO
In related news, there will stuff handed out to people to award them for something they did idk
Please show Zelda pleeeeeeeease!!!!!!!!

Wow everyone is gagging for the big Z. I highly doubt that Nintendo will finally give the first TRUE reveal trailer with actual gameplay at the TGA. Nintendo has always been there and has given little tidbits, but they never blow their load or show something huge there. I have my doubts that they will this year, but I could be surprised. Things might be different now that the Nintendo directs a little slower and hopefully Nintendo goes back to having real E3 press conferences on the worlds stage. This would give them more exposer and spot light since the Nintendo Direct is mostly viewed by their fans.
If Nintendo were to be smart I think that they should go with a bang at The Game Awards. They should announce the NX and show a concept trailer of the console. No games, no U.I.'s nothing software related or even giving any indication of the hardware itself. Simple show people ONLY the console design in fancy trailer like they did with the Game Cube. If it has a standard controller, show that too. I suggest they keep the secrets and what ever gimmicks they have until they are ready to fully reveal the system. Nintendo NEEDS to pre-generate hype for the NX and let the average gamer know about it's existence. You'd be surprised at how many people never even heard of the NX. Let the world know that you are cooking something awesome and give them but a taste on the tip of their tongues.
Face it. Every third party developer wants people know well in advance so there is knowledge of existence of a console they may release a launch title for. Games are expensive to make they want some insurance on their success. Plus the competition knows Nintendo is cooking something up. Just let the world know already.

Revealing their next system in the middle of the holidays, that's totally something Nintendo would not do if they were smart. No need to risk cannibalizing Wii U n 3DS sales during the most important time of the year when you can just wait a few months.

-Nah, Cranky was cool at one point. He's actually the original Donkey Kong from the 80s. He used to always talk badly about the "new" generation of Super Nintendo games compared to the glory days of the old 80s Arcade games. In 1994, he was laugh out loud funny. Not so much nowadays, though.
