$299.99 is the official price, this is just a retailer drop for Black Friday and extends until supplies run out (which probably means sadly the retailer is not expecting Wii Us to sell out over Black Friday).

No price cut. But Splatoon + Mario Kart 8 is a pretty darn good bundle.

Wii U is still too expensive for console that just has a few games I want to play.

The official price is still $299.99. No price cut.

These are retailer temporary cuts for the Black Friday rush, other systems will get them too. This isn't even the best one one for Wii U, Target has the Wii U for $249.99 for Black Friday.

Way too little too late, the Wii U should be between 200 to 250$ at most... even then, it should have launched with decent specs (in 2012 the baseline would have been at least as powerful as the XB1, maybe with only 4GB of ram.. but computing wise, that should have been the base target (and MS should have been more careful with their specs... I'd say the PS4 is the bare minimum of what a modern console should be, anything less is just a waste of time).
