Yeah, he's completely wrong but most of the good or notable PC titles like Killing Floor 2, Firewatch, SOMA, Darkest Dungeon etc. are coming to PS4 and that's what matters.

Honestly there's a lot more to the games on PC than those you listed. Totally good more players get to play those games though, everyone should get to play all sorts of games from other plats tbh.

Just looking at this years PC games in which I've heard of and ones people talk about.

Broforce - coming to PS4
Pillars of Eternity
Kerbal Space Program - coming to PS4 & XBO
Crypt of the NecroDancer - coming to PS4 & Vita
Homeworld Remastered Collection
Cities Skyline - coming first to XBO then PS4
Invisible, Inc. - coming to PS4

I'd say a good percentage is coming to consoles. Sony is doing a really good job in getting the good PC games on to their console.

Outside the USA a possibility, in the USA, not a chance in hell. The 3rd parties know, a dominant system like the ps2 was, would be a death sentence to the gaming community in this generation. Because if that happened sony would be a arrogant piece of shit , like they were when they announced the ps3.
If anyone actually wants the ps4 to be like the ps2 in sales, then say goodbye to a competitive and growth in our beloved hobby. Any true gamer should want all systems to do well and not a one sided afair.

Not all systems can do well or good (however one might define what well or good is) in a market. Every console can't sell over 100 mil consoles (the market leaders do). , it would be good in my opinion, if the PS4 sells at least 100 mil of consoles. . Nintendo and MS did alright then. The PS4 selling at PS2 levels might force nintendo to adapt to today's gaming market for the better and MS would further refine their consoles/not try anymore DRM crap. The PS2 game library was my favorite and it was the funniest time for me to play games.

All I hope for in any console gen is that the market leader sells at least 100 mil consoles because if the market leader can't do that then we know that the gaming market is not doing well.

Broforce is definitely a good one, completed it recently and I'd say is worth going back for harder difficulty. Haven't had a chance to get a friend to co-op with though but you can host and join the story mode/custom games.

Crypt of the NecroDancer- Not really my jam though it looks good.

Homeworld Remastered collection is a good remastering of the originals, more or less the first one done better. Dunno about it coming to PS4 though with how that would work and not currently finding any links as to it coming over.

Cities Skylines I have in my backlog and definitely looks good, miles ahead of the Sim City EA threw out in 2013 and Planet Coaster is looking better than Rollercoaster Tycoon World.

Invisible Inc- Not really my type of game but also looks good.

You should check out some of the games getting voted on Greenlight as well.

I would recommend some games for console gamers to try out like:

the incredible adventures of van helsing series, Pillars of Eternity, Satellite Reign, Legacy of the Void, Wreckfest, Act of Aggression, Ashes of Singularity (currently ea) and then Anno 2205 (due out tomorrow) that I can think of from recent memory.

I'd say there is still a lot more that still haven't left and remain, though I;d also like for Sony to give some out as well or other devs in general, MS seems to be doing good on that.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Seeing how well PS4 is doing, and how the Sony team is actively working really hard to get as many game on their console as possible, I think this trend is going to continue and grow for the PS4 and beyond.

As the PS4 userbase continue to grow at an ever faster pace, most developers will have little choice, but to go PS exclusive. PS4 is turning into an iOS like ecosystem in the home console market, while PC holds on to the Android esque side. The size of the user base, and the dollar per user on PS4 is going to greatly outpace any other gaming platform, and that will lead to many full out exclusives, and a good percentage of timed exclusives as well.

Sony seems to keep hitting all the right notes. The expansion into additional markets with PlayStation Vue and PlayStation VR look to only widen the gap. PS VR should bring 100's of console exclusive gaming, productivity, and entertainment apps to PlayStation over the next few years.

For Japanese developers, it probably isn't worth their time and effort to support the XBO. The vast majority of those who play third-party Japanese games likely do so on PlayStation. However, Western developers will probably continue to support the XBO due to it doing fairly well in the U.S. & UK.

It seems to me at least the exact same distribution as late last gen

Yes, with Japanese games(leaving out Nintendo). For example, earlier this year, Shinji Hashimoto said that Square "wants to help spread more PS4's" regarding more unannounced PS4 games in 2015(E3 and TGS). Then later at E3, Tetsuya Nomura said "we wanted to give gamers something that would make them happy -- open them up, perhaps, to buying into the PS4" regarding the PS4 titles announced. OP said that Square announced FFXV, KH3 during E3 2013(also, Type-0 HD at E3 2014).

The PS4's growth widened the gap between Xbox since then, and as we know Type-0 HD bombed on Xbox(poor example since no one asked for it there), which is what we all expected including Square. It just comes down to remembering that PS, the Japanese console with worldwide appeal is a guarantee while Xbox, the American console is an option when it comes to Japanese games, and the sales reflect that. Of course, western games will be multi-plat.

Thanks for the insight. I didn't read those Square comments before. It makes even more sense now.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

I don't think that would happen again they learned from the ps3 mistake and won't become arrogant again, not with the people working for sony at the moment.

Of course they're going to move towards the PS4. It's where they make most of the sales. They're not going to solely move to the PS4, however.

I could also see in the near future every PC game coming to PS4 or PS5 too. (although atm like at least 75%+ PC games are already coming to PS4)

Also the Nintendo going 3rd party and releasing only for PS?, I don't even know where to start with how wrong that all sounds and non logical at that.

"atm 75%+ PC games already coming to PS4", double wut.

What I posted is on point. I'm 36 and no fanboy as I got love for every console & PC. Most games that you can buy for PC are coming to PS4 and even more imo for PS5 when it drops. As the arch is similar now and easy to port games too. Even MMO's are making the jump to PS4 like FF14 ARR Heavensward for example as PC/PS4 players even play together on the same servers. Same with Portal 2. Tons of Indies that would have been PC only are on PS4. Then games like War Thunder, Blacklight Retribution, Warframe etc too.
