It won't have legs like the ps2 simply because it'll never be priced low enough for the emerging markets.

The ps3 is at 200€ with very difficult hardware that's hard to lower the price more, how is the ps4 not reaching that or even more by the time let's say when the PSX-5 (yeah that will be the name) releases?

I think we all knew something was up when MS decided to stop releasing console sales numbers and started slashing the prices of their bundles.

They forecast over 10M next two quarters. I take it that should be 7M this Q and over 3M in the next one

Unless I'm missing something and Sony changed their forecast today, they are expecting 38.8million shipped by March 31st.

Edit: they indeed changed their forecast from 16.5million to 17.5million for the year, mah gawdddddddd. The PlayStation train isn't just continuing, it's accelerating!

Competitive in usa? For as long as ms support it. and the Gap will probably never hit what x360 got on ps3
