The one legitimate complaint I read about in the Game Informer review revolved around the combat. It sounds like you can get through most of the combat in the game by mashing the X button - you don't even need to look at the screen.

Still, I'm something of a whore for FF VII (though I avoided Dirge of Cerebus) and it sounds like the story bits are definitely worthwhile.

That's like saying you can play the ENTIRE Mass Effect GeoW style.. Of course you can, if you want to die A LOT.

Of course you can just use "attack" command only in any JRPG, you just won't do very well.

This score doesnt do teh game justice .It should have at least a 9.2 .With 25 hours of main quest and hundreds of side missions it cant have a 8 in longevity .With those graphics ,above most PS2 games ,it cant have a 8.5 in graphics .

I am buying the game tomorrow, Already owned the Japanese version. So I will give my full review of the game in about 2 days. It will be awesome. This game was the reason I bought my first PSP

and it felt like vaporware for the longest time. lol

kingofwale : man your so lucky ... I still have to wait for Patapon , Chains of Olympus and this :( I hope that Il find at least 2 of them until summer , but Il probably only play CC during summer :)
