Globally they shipped about 5 million last holiday quarter and according to NPD leaks they sold 1.35 million in Nov+Dec in the US.

The price cut will help, especially when that cut is layered with some of the great bundles were are going to see. The PS4 is will essentially be the equivalent of buying a stand alone console at under 299. They key with bundles is that they have games people want and there is selection. COD BOIII and Star Wars BF are games people want.
