I might pick it up later, wasn't planning on getting it at launch so I didn't know when it came out. (I have the first three mainline games btw, not played any since Brotherhood)

Will get it.... after getting and beating Unity that is.....

Black Flag wasn't revolutionary, but it was a nice change compared to the previous games. And most importantly, it was fun.

But instead of trying to stay on that route they went back to the old formula and it was a buggy mess to boot. Black Flag gave hope for the franchise, Unity destroyed it.

I love AC 2 and Brotherhood, but I think the franchise started to fade with Revelations. AC 3 is a mess and Black Flag bored me to death, didn't even finish it.

Ubisoft needs to kill it asap

Same experience. Too much, too quickly and especially AC3 was a disaster that even if Unity was okay my interest in the series has pretty much died.

No, the game will sell millions. However, people are going to be cautious due to Unity being a mess.

I played through Unity after a lot of the patching, it was actually not bad. The free DLC was solid as well.

Personally I enjoy AC games enough to play through the campaign. That usually takes 15-20 hours.

But I barely touch the side content.

I am glad that this game is not getting hype like usual.AC has fallen each game after AC2 and they are boring with poorly designed gameplay.I never got what made them so appealing even though the concept was good.Ubi milks their franchises way too much and they ruined it.
