Microsoft needs to focus on the IPs they already own. Every Rare IP they own outside of KI is gathering dust at the moment.

Looking at almost every multiplat, yes it actually is true. It's actually a fact if you believe VGC. Contracts..it's called contracts. Companies do them, EA funds Respawn and they get some type of ownership. They went behind Respawn and took money to make TF exclusive, how much power do you think Respawn actually has? |
Considering the fact that Respawn owns Titanfall and not EA, they have say. The reason the founders left Infinity Ward and formed Respawn was because Activision had total ownership of their work (the Call of Duty franchise)

I think it is a bit silly some people are listing rare games. Most rare games won't sell well at all in this day and age. I said titan fall only because it sold very well and can become the next gears of war for Microsoft.

No seriously though they don't need to buy new IPs they have some if the best ones in many genre already, they just need to exploit them properly... It's more good dev studios they should buy and talented people they should retain...

I would buy a XB1 in a heartbeat if Banjo Threeie would get announced!

Remedy seems like a good choice. Otherwise they should invest in some first party studios and have them create new IP's/ sequels for dormant IP's. No point in milking Halo & Gears with iteration after iteration this gen cycle if they're planning an XTwo.

That's about it. I'd like to see them build new studios and create their own IPs or work on existing IPs.
