Then they would sell a console and justify the move.  But I have to believe that some people would buy just that one console and not a second one.

Only advantage i see would be that the lack of EA titles during the summer and holidays would force more 1st party games to be ready for holiday season

I hate to say it but given the current console climate it would probably outsell Nintendo's console for 3rd place. Maybe could bump MS out of 2nd actually.

That would fuck over the other console manufacturers pretty good if EA made a console and kept all their series exclusive.

That would make EA the primary console for sports games aside from baseball and basketball. And they have at least something in pretty much every other genre too.
