I like Dragon Ball Super, there are also many things I hate about this show (the amount its dragged out infuriates me, and don't you fucking tell me DBZ was like that cause I will slap you across the internet. DBZ's filler was at least engaging. Episode 8 had 5 and half minutes of Vegeta's awesome fights, interspersed with reaction shots from each individual character and then 10 minutes of Oolong and 2 minutes of Goku, fuck dat.I also dislike the Japanese VA's performance for King Kai and the narrator. Episode 11 was a little better , but he has no inflection of emotion in his voice. As someone on reddit said, his voice doesn't match whats going on screen. I appreciate his effort since hes 's 84, but Masako ,the voice of Goku, Gohan, and Goten, does a much better job and shes onlya few years(8) younger than him) But I digress.

What I never noticed before, was the Animation. At first, I thought it was stylistic, and paid no mind to it, but Its one of those things that you can't really unnotice.

Perhaps, 20 years ago was a better place for animators and animation alike? GG no re Toei.

dats episode 10, not much improvement. Yes the background is good, but it was always the character animation that was bad.

Its not being true to the characters, I don't care if the earth was gonna get blown up Vegeta wouldn't dance like that.  Goku barely got Vegeta to even do the fusion move because Vegeta said it makes him look like a dancer.  Also since the movies are coming out first it kills all the suspense because you know what's gonna happen.

Although they way you are comparing is not the best either. Animation cannot be compared to still frames. If you want to compare go animation to animation or still frame to still frame.

I agree, but at the same time, I largely don't care about that. Primarily because they are just straight taking a dump all over Gohan. 

In any case, nowadays, animation has really improved, but also makes it easier to see lack of effort. There a lot of garbage looking episodes in DBZ as well, but the attention to detail was pretty neglible back then due to the artstyle. 

They may improve as time goes on or they may just be half-assing it because its Dragon Ball and they don't want spend too much on something they know will make them a huge sum either way at this point

At least they're being consistant, they did that at the start of the Buu saga too.

I thought they got rid of Mystic Gohan, doesn't he go super saiyan in Battle of Gods?
