This. Its sad to see him dodgeball with this. It's because Xbox live is a closed network.

Maybe he decided to open it later but the timing wasnt there anymore for squeenix. The more delayed the situation was the more they would have to work on things to poirt the game (countless patches and an expansion).

If he was smart, he would go to EA and get a console SWTOR exclusive or to Blizzard and get a console WoW exclusive. Not that i would enjoy those, but it would be something better than QQ we were too late to please squeenix' demands and now they dont want us anymore.

I've been reading the comments (and checked few up/down votes) in N4G. What a nest of clueless brain damaged. They are saying that Sony has a similar policy against cross-play. Do they realize that the PlayStation gamers are playing FF XIV: ARR with the PC and lately also with the OS X players?

I really want to see how much supportive will MS be of the idea that Apple gamers can join their so much treeeasuured XBL. I wish SE will make a FF XIV:ARR port for iOS. lol
