That's why he plays dirty, like a boss should do with the competition. But he's smart and polite.

I don't think his words affect sales of PS4. And I don't think he intended to do that either.

OMG that thread is golden. Discussion is fair, points from both side are actually valid. Is just a matter of which side you are. At the beginning I though Phill was in wrong.
But the point about the price cut actually being more damaging to them is also a good point why he should not tell people to assume is it happening.
But one point no one mention Phill also says that he is ready for Sony Price cut. Isn't he somehow trying to make Sony hesitant about a price cut. Cause Sony knows that MS can afford to sell the Xbox One for $200 for 2 months. Really this can be a lot of things.

Well, this could be seen as a way to make people hold off their purchases, but those people will get the PS4 sooner or later...

Also, this could entice more people that were on the fence as well so it really depends on what perspective you look at it

If it wasn't for Phil accusing Sony of buying FFXV when Squares publically stated multiple times that they want to bring it to the Xbox One, but Microsoft has to allow cross play with other platforms, I could see your point.

You don't honestly think that Spencer couldn't have simply deflect the question or even just not comment on it? 

That's why this whole he's answering a question crap doesn't hold water. Its not like he was being forced to say something.
