I only hope that Nomura can get Kojima a nice position in Square Enix. Anyway, I was never really a Konami fan, but all the things they do sound very shitty, so no, I would never have faith in them.

Did I miss something and Kojima joined SE? what

Aren't they going almost all mobile?  Their glory days are over.  Been over for me since after the NES era.

Everyone at Konami needs to just stop going to work. They've reached a point of no return where they are unwanted in the industry.

Look I don't buy publisher names - I buy good games. EA, Ubisoft, Activision, and even Konami - it doesn't matter! If a game is good, I will buy it.

However I am much more likely to trust people like R* and ND over others, and it would have to be a VERY good game for my to buy from Konami anytime soon.

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

No. But right now Kojima is unemployed and he and Nomura are buddies, plus, Square Enix is a japanese company, so I'm kinda hoping that he goes to Squeenix if he plans to continue to direct games, they could use his talent.

I'm now filled with determination.

I stopped trusting Konami after they turned Castlevania into a god damn God of War ripoff! It's sad that we went from games like Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin to that....

Whats funny is that is also Kojima fault, but don't let anyone hear you call him anything but a genius.

I don't care about Konami, but they did the right thing. Kojima is too expensive and I don't think he's the gaming god everyone claims he is. They need money and good games and I think they can give the MGS franchise to someone who can actually do both things.

The whole situation with Kojima and Konami is not something the company can be proud off. But is it a reason to boycot all their games? Not really for me. If they release a new Suikoden, Contra or old school Castlevania i will be the first to buy it. I will not waste a good game just because a company made some bad business decisions.

Nope, after Kojima left, Konami is nothing.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

their YuGiOh game on PS4 was phenomenal. And i have good faith as they asked the fans with a survey recently and games like Suikoden or ZoE were there. If they keep devoloping games in Japan i will support them.

What ruined their franchises was outsourcing games like Silent Hill to the West for example.
