Considering that thanks to a multiplatform game in one week the PS4 sold about as much as the XBone on its lifetime yes, multiplatform games do matter. It could even be french fries, as long as they are system sellers they are good! :p

BTW I heard the consoles were dead in Japan. That Japanese people only play mobile games. What happened? :D

Metal Gear sales are steady. So far so good, but MGS4 made a stronger boost for PS3 back in the day.

I hope 2nd week outsells Mario Maker.
