I did enjoy PS2 games more than HD games in general, probably cause consumers were willing to buy a diverse lineup of games instead of open-world or multiplayer games.

I didn't think there was a need for third or a spin off after the first PlayStation Vita version
Agree with many that the platforming was quite poor and thus doesn't make it in my favourite Ps3 list as well.
LittleBigPlanet is one of my favorite game series of all time.
So even if IGN doesn't include it that's just their opinion anyway.
little big planet 3 was a giant let down to me

Unfortunately yes
Platformers have become niche genre nowadays.
Gamers these days want bloods and gory as their cup of tea than beautiful and cute games

Same can be said about Uncharted tbh...
Each have 3 games on the PS3 and one on the Vita. I think LBP also has a PSP game, but Uncharted will have an exclusive PS4 game.

The main problem with Little Big Planet is the platforming. As a level creator its fantastic but as an actual platformer, its so far behind other platformers that it leaves a sour taste in the mouth. |
FLOATY. That is the reason why I can't play the game for too long.

To be fair, Naughty Dog is pretty good about only developing a series to its peak and then jumping ship before it has a chance to seriously decline (see: Crash Bandicoot and Jak). If they didn't think Uncharted was still viable for them, there wouldn't be the fourth game. IIRC, they've also said pretty definitively that Uncharted 4 will be the last Uncharted. I guess instead of doing three games and a racing title like with Crash and Jak, they just opted for four main entries instead.
As for the Vita version, it's nice for what it is, although it's worth mentioning that it seems Sony pushed for that one since the SCE Bend studio developed it, not Naughty Dog. Same goes for that card game people can vaguely remember but nobody ever talks about.

Platformers get boring faster than almost any other genre imo.
My only memorable platforming games are from a time when games with more depth (both in dimensions and content such as story, atmosphere, characters, context, objectives) didnt exist.
That said, it wouldnt make my top 10, but missing out on top 25 is harsh.
