I'm in two minds about this. On one hand, I'm glad that this ridiculous suspension got revoked and the NFL lost the wind in their sails. On another, I did really want to see Garropolo play a few games in the regular season...

Can we please just get this Spygate nonsense out of the way?
Taping signals from sidelines (aka the violation the Patriots were punished for) was legal up until 2006. At that point, the NFL decided to limit the locations for signal taping and removed the sidelines. Several teams continued to do so, the NFL sent out a memo saying the next team to do so would be punished harshly, the Patriots decided to ignore it and got punished harshly.
This isn't to say that all teams cheat, but rather that the illegal actions that the Patriots partook in were legal during all three Super Bowl runs.

And the Jets got busted for it the following year, and got nothing.

Whatever helps you sleep better at night, and once upon a time, the public thought Slavery was cool. Just goes to show you how much faith you should place in the publics opinion :) Your opinion is irrelevant +1 |
you are part of the public. I guess you're calling your own opinion irrelevant
Your ego is the opposite of Tom Brady's balls it would seem
But seriously. 1919 Cincinnati Reds=2000-present Patriots.
Same level of legitimacy. Enjoy your meaningless titles that only you value now Pats fans. The rest of us are living in reality.

No, my ability to read, is why I'm confident. I didn't ask the NFL Network, ESPN, or anyone to carry the water for me. I read every single document, which gives me a rather good position to make my own conclusions. Plus, I've also got a Judge who not only overturned the ban, but referred to the charges as 'Alleged' in his ruling. You know, that word people use when they feel it hasn't been proven, yet. :)
Compare this team to whatever you want, it really matters not. All I gotta say is:
Such bullshit. If that was any other QB it would have been upheld and not gone to court. Even Brees, Rodgers, would have been serving 4 games.
I hate how much shit the Pats get away with. Fucking cheater of a coach and a douchebag prettyboy QB

Oh, is that why the league immediately investigated Rodgers when he said he gives Footballs to the refs purposefully overinflated, and makes them put them in regulation? Seems legit.

Haven't heard anything about that before. All I know is that Belichick and Brady are fucking cheaters. Would they have still won the superbowl without underinflated balls? Probably, but they're still pussies for doing it.

Makes sense, not many people talked about it:

Also, try reading a bit on this topic, like...the actual documents that're publicly available, even the Judge wasn't confident in the evidence to say anything more than 'alleged', regarding ball deflation. Frankly, it seems more cowardly to assume you know anything, without even educating yourself first.
