Am I the only one thinking that starting the PR with "New bundles starting at $349 coming" and then "This one is at $399" is kinda silly?

Lol, I know right. This almost read like "We are starting with a bundle at $399, but if you can wait less than a week, we will have other bundles priced at S349.

The Tactical Survivor Pack, available exclusively in the Rise of the Tomb Raider Xbox One bundle, equips Lara with a new outfit, upgraded abilities and spec-ops tactical gear taken from enemy forces.

The Xbox One Rise of the Tomb Raider Bundle will be available starting in November for $399 USD. Discover the Legend Within only on Xbox this holiday, exclusively available at Microsoft stores and Best Buy in the U.S. and participating retailers in all markets where Xbox One is sold except Canada, China and the UK.

The box looks hot and appealing.

The price? Not so much. I mean, its a vanilla X1 with a 1tb HDD.

Hmmm..... $399.99 does sound nice, but in practice, considering what Microsoft has to get prepared for, I thought the price was going to be $349.99

Won't show up on Amazon? Disappointing. If a few of these bundles are only available at certain stores, Amazon may be far less reliable this holiday. We will have to wait and see.

I think the bundle will do pretty well. They have gone for the Assassin's Creed model that worked so well for them last year, only this time a trade off has been made between price and hard drive size. I think there will be better deals to come this week. Weird how one of the only few countries it is not going to be sold in is the second biggest for the Xbox brand.

But did it? We dont know how much stock they made of it, but it stayed around for a very very long time.

It definitely did well, it was a big part of their November and December NPD wins last year, and was their big seller for a good few months after. The biggest factor was the new $350 price point though, which this bundle doesn't have.

I'm not sure it did as well as they expected though. I mean, we saw stock selling months and months afterwards.

Retailers probably don't want to carry a bunch of XB1 bundles.

Ah, I see. So will we probably still see other bundles on Amazon, then, just not all?

Yeah. It looks like they're going have a few bundles for each retailer. Except for Gamestop since they don't want digital bundles anymore.

They definitely overshipped it, that was confirmed by numerous retailers on gaf. But in terms of the numbers it put in, it did pretty well imo.

Yeah that's kinda what I meant (without saying it :D

It was still being sold in the summer months, and I dont think stock should have stayed around that long.

Uncharted Collection into the top 30, hopefully puts in some decent numbers. Think it will be part of a BF bundle as well.

Didnt the "Day One" Edition of the Xbox One lasted like....10 months after release?

They either produce too much of those SE, or they sell under expectations.
