Color me pleasantly surprised!
If sales go well, which they should, we will probably see a Super Mario Maker 2 or even Zelda Dungeon Designer!

So many haters on all of the review sites, especially gamespot. It's really embarrassing and sad that people take video games so personally/seriously and cannot enjoy products from different companies.
Really glad that the game reviewed well.
Hi
it is now 88 at metacritic. another reviewer posted a 70.

For all its drawbacks in terms of relying on the gamer to actual put in the effort to enjoy the experience, Super Mario Maker is a fresh approach to the old 'RPG Maker' mould, taking the key elements that any 'build-a-game' title requires and then making sure that there are sufficient in-built goodies to give those less inclined to while away the hours making new content a sense of value for money.

If you accept its purposeful limitations this is one of the few successful attempts to ensure creating your own games is as much fun as playing them.

Not sure if comment is sarcastic or ironic

Currently most hyped for: FFXV and Zelda U
88 will probably be the final score at least if not more mixed rewiews pop up. It needs at least two perfect scores or three 9.5s to climb back up, that seems unlikely. Great score, nonetheless.

If this game is as complete as some reviewers are saying, it would be pointless to release a SMM2.
An RPG maker tho? I dig it!
