Nope, Sony played it the safest this gen. Going with all power and taking a wait and see approach. Letting the Bone take the risks and if it fails on one thing, laugh and point fingers. Boring approach, but it has pretty graphics 😍. Entertain us and wow us, boring bitches! I didn't get a PS4 to play 8-bit games and multi-plats with extra lines of resolution. I want Sony to really dominate with a mighty hand and just crush M$ and Nintendo and make their followers cry.

I'm sorry, I spoke without thinking. Please don't punish me, mighty Sony Gods. 😓 I know... Greatness awaits, I will wait.

I don't think we have the data necessary to make that claim (or the reverse). "Some notice/care, some don't" is about as in-depth as we can currently go with either argument.

Look at my previous response in this thread were i have videos put in there. The ps4 os is faster in booting and other application and it has nearly no installation time. The ps4 also has features like forced button remaping and zooming fearure the xbox 1 is lacking. Yes ps4 and xbox1 have many features requring the internet but the xbox1 is more dependent on it, you cant even use the dvr on xbox1 without the internet.

I think it's getting enough respect, maybe you're reading stuff in the wrong sections.
To me, it's not worthy yet, but neither is XOne - both lack games I'm interested in. Wii U has some interesting games, so I'll probably get it this christmas if not earlier.

Well I'm gonna go out on a limb and say they don't care or don't know the disparity. I mean did most people know if they had the superior or inferior version of a port last gen?

PS2 and OG Xbox was the gen where technical disparity was the most significant. Games at that time looked a generation apart. This gen is a lot of boasting about pixel count and we often wait for Digital Foundry to give us that info.

Hope your post don't derail the thread to out of topic, because it's quite flaming.

I think the thread will be fine... its a dumb thread...

PS4 is already the most praised console and best selling. Its funny that still isn't enough for the OP. The sad thing is many Playstation fans seem to share this sentiment, it seems they don't like any competition. Some people don't even like me calling X1 competition to PS4.

Okay, those are nice features I guess but I don't think that's what people consider when talking value.

From my experience Xbox consoles are much faster at downloading content. Can I add that to value? No wait... all internet related stuff isn't valuable. Right...

I'm gonna go cancel my PS+ subscription now. Because internet related content is of no value according to Ruler.
