Taking a wait-and-see approach.

This. Also i was expecting big things from it and got disappointed.

I'm excited by this game. It seems pretty much what I want from a new starfox. An evolution on the old games with many new ideas but still remains a recognisable starfox game. I like starfox for the single player so any multilayer would just be an added bonus to me.

It looks fun, but disappointing. Really plain graphics and bad controls. We've still only had one look at it though, so I need to see more before I can make a decision about it.

As long as it plays well and has good music I'm down. I hope they add more DLC levels if the game was a little rushed to make this holiday window.

My thoughts?

That I'm still going to be waiting forever for the honest to god, worthy SF64 follow-up I've been waiting for, for like a decade and a half.

Sure, it's Star Fox, and you can choose to use regular controls, and etc.

But it's not a new game. It's not an original, full blown Star Fox, with a huge solar system (or two) to explore, it doesn't have the graphics it should (they don't look bad, but it looks like what it is, a game that started as a Wii game).

It's not the steaming pile of aborted fetuses that Assault was on GC, but that's like saying that a Whopper from Burger King is better than getting a burger from AM PM. It might be an okay Star Fox. But I didn't really want, after all this time, to get just an "okay" Star Fox. I wanted something that was actually worth all the wait. I do no think this will be.

I really don't see whats so appeal about this game. I'm pretty sure this is all just nostalgia.

Star Fox 64 is still fun to play today and these types of games aren't made that often anymore, so no it's not "all nostalgia". Gimme some Star Fox over URBAN OPEN WORLD GAME 20938 or BALD SPACE MARINE SHOOTER 19282.

Never played Star Fox before, so I have nothing to compare it to, so it should be pretty interesting to play :p
