Do you think Wii U will be able to outsell the Gamecube in Japan? According to VGChartz, as of July 4th, the Wii U is at 2.41 M. in Japan and the Gamecube is at 4.04 M., but Wii U numbers are two months behind so who knows what number they are acutally at.

So do you think that games like Super Mario Maker, SMTxFE, and Pokken Tournament will be able to push Wii U over 4.04 M.?

It'll be very hard, so I'll say no for now. It all depends on when the NX launches though, and if the Wii U ever receives a price cut.
