Because some hard levels? Really?
They are rated by difficulty, so you can chose to play the easy ones, or to follow your favourite level designers, the ones you know are not gonna do troll levels, very simple.

He even had problems trying to fly with the cape...

The whole point of the game is you can create what you wish, and play a whole variety of levels. At the moment the push is for the "hardcore retro gamer" and so showing off all of these different options which will result in hard as nails gameplay will be exactly what this segment of the market wants.

The beauty, though, of a level editor like this is that it has breadth and scope for everyone and the possibilities are numerous. You need not worry about the game not being "fun", because if you like Mario then there will be something here for you. And if you don't like Mario, then somehow I don't think the game was meant for you anyway.

Having watched the videos I can tell that I'll have a whole heap of fun with this. Can't wait to see what the people here on the community come up with.

I will make the trolliest of troll levels.

Upload it and lets us know.  We can have our own thread of SMM levels created by VG members.  And lets see how we fair on those levels. Should be fun. :)

Making troll levels is easy, making legitimately hard levels that still don't feel unfair on the other hand, is very difficult. I can't wait to make tough as nails levels for Ültra to fail on

Making hard levels is easy. The hard part is making them so good people keep trying instead of moving on to another level after 3 tries.

I'm not going to have the patience to do a lot of these.
