I also did it when I bought the WiiU and linked my eShop purchases with Club Nintendo. Although this seems to be the same to me, apparently we are required to manually link the NNID and our Nintendo account... seems like initial steps for the new NNID centred program!

Yeah I remember doing that as well so I was confused. Nice surprise though, because of it I now have 1300 Stars.

I'm going to wait awhile too to see how much the last items are going to cost. The coaster set is cool indeed but I doubt I'll be able to get it with only 1300. Maybe that so-called 'Goodbye Coin' would be nice, to end the 11 years I've had a CN account. I don't know, if all else fails I'll just get A Link to the Past or something.

That goodbye coin could be a keeper too, just depends on the price.

Also interested in the Captain Toad lamp and the MK8/SM3DW OSTs.... or Pullblox World which is a bit expensive.
