If it has BC with 3DS games then, first off, day one.
Secondly if it is a traditional handheld then it will make me question why Nintendo gave us such a sparse Wii U lineup this year and what everyone meant when they kept saying things like "unified platform" (which in all honestly I'm thinking what NX really is).

If NX is a handheld, VGC would crash. Just look at everyone rooting for it to be a home console, both fans and rivals.

For me the logical way to go would be a 720p handheld to end the 3DS cycle with a NXTV similar to PSTV, FireTV, etc. Then cross-platform between NX, NXTV and WiiU

Actually he didn't said that NX is a home console, he only said that they working on next home console.

NX could be lots of things, but I think chances for traditional handheld are smallest.

I really can't see it being a console. Why? Because they barely had the manpower to make games for the Wii U. Being forced to learn much more complicated systems in a short period of time will frustrate some developers.

Yes because they care so much about the home console market.
