That wouldn't be the reason. 

The reason it's PS3 and PS4 in Japan is because PS3 still selling software. 

In North America the PS3 is dead and so not worth releasing it there, that's why it's PS4 only because sales won;t be different if they release on PS3. 

 

The reason it won't hit 1m in NA is because the game is a niche. I'll be surprised if it sells 200k there. 


Disagree. It has two platforms overseas vs 1 in america. I don't think niche would have much to do with it tbh

No they don't but in 1M sold digital is included.

It's not like that's a 1 million guarantee in Japan. Just look at the DQ Monster 3DS games. Not one has cracked a million.

Otherwise, yay. I can see this game managing around 300k in the rest of the world. Maybe more since it's more action oriented. If it does really, really well, I could see it managing an additional 450k or so globally.

Ummm....Dragon Quest Monsters 1 did 1M, the second one which wasn't that popular on the Game Boy Color to begin with, did around 700-900k. Just thought I'd say that.
