That wouldn't be the reason. 

The reason it's PS3 and PS4 in Japan is because PS3 still selling software. 

In North America the PS3 is dead and so not worth releasing it there, that's why it's PS4 only because sales won;t be different if they release on PS3. 

 

The reason it won't hit 1m in NA is because the game is a niche. I'll be surprised if it sells 200k there. 

Disagree. It has two platforms overseas vs 1 in america. I don't think niche would have much to do with it tbh
