Yeah, but Sunset was up against the master chief collection while Tomb Raider is up against Halo 5, Fallout 4 and Star Wars. Also if I remember correctly Sunset only managed 0.4M before the end of the year while I predicted that Tomb Raider will sell 0.7M.

Most people can't/don't want to pay full price for all of these games and when they place them in a list from Most wanted to least wanted. I'm sure that for at least 70% of Xbox gamers the game is going to be at the bottom.

last year Sunset was against GTA5 (which sold shit loads), CoD, MCC, AC Unity, Farcry 4, Dragon Age and Destiny. while this years compition is stronger, you cant disregard that Sunset also had a lot to compete against.

what i am trying to say is comparing TR against Sunset isnt really a logical comparison. the best Sunset game sold 800k (VGC #'s) and the best tomb raider sold 8 million. thats 10 times SO sales.

A little over a mil.

depends, if they bundle the game like assassins creed
if yes, 3.5 million or even more
if not, bleow 1.5 million for sure

Im a tiny bit pessimistic with its sales, due to its release date & competition around then.

I voted 750k btw.

Its intresting to see Swarm intelligence of the board votes, seem to be between 500k and 1M (with slightly more votes at 1M mark than 500k).

That doesnt mean it cant sell more, and the people in here cant be surprised or wrong.

800k. I think it's releasing at a very unfortunate period.

750K.
I would have predicted much more just two months ago, but now that Fallout 4 comes out the same day, and it also has a MS marketing deal, I see a lot of TR copies being sold after New Year, when it hits $40 or gets a better bundling deal.

I put 1.2m

I think as others have said it will be outshone by a lot of other titles which I think the X1 crowd with flock to (StarWars, Halo, Fallout, COD).

I see it having a 500k openning

Also people are drunk if they think it perform as midly as Sunset OD, an unestablished franchised released on a userbase half the size of TR. Tomb Raider's audience may favour the Playstation brand but the series has established success on 360 aswell.

780,000 copies sold in 2015 globally in the US.

800k, if it doesn't get bundled.

Releasing same time as Fallout 4, just after Halo 5 and CoD, just before Battlefront, and with a decent but not massive install base.
