People have to bare in mind that the DE version of TR2013 has only sold 350K since it released in January 2014, that's over a year and a half.

Do people really think that RTR will change that when the game can be bought on the 360 on the same day it comes out at launch?
Do they think the places where the bigger install bases for the franchise are won't already know they don't need to buy an XB1 to play it eventually?

RTR on XB1 will be massively overshadowed by Fallout 4, Call of Duty Black Ops 3 and Battlefront as well.
This holiday the only game most XBox One owners are going to care about is Halo 5, before that they're going to be more interested in Forza 6 and the Rare Replay collection for the nostalgia factor of classic rare games.

Xbox One sales of TR2013 were only at just under 49K when that game had no competition, perhaps there will be a better effect because this is a new game and it's not a remaster of the 360 game, but still the install base is exactly what it was when the 2013 game released on XB1.

If there are a choice of games to be bought on Black Friday, within a bundle deal, with XB1 I don't think people will choose RTR, they'd probably rather have Halo 5, Forza 6, Rare Replay and anything else that's a true exclusive.

I actually now think this game will be lucky to sell 250K by the end of the year, there's just too much competition!

Ok, update with all my predictions.

I would say hovering around 1.06 by the end of the year. Should Microsoft announce a bundle, then that's where my prediction will change (how much I do not know, so please forgive me if this did not fully answer your question OP ).
