With due respect to the OP, a Smash RPG should happen before a Smash and Dynasty Warriors crossover. I would love to enjoy choosing my favorite characters beat the tar out of bad guys, but the issue lies in with how to make the game contain high replay ability without making the game tedious. Said issue has been a problem for much of the Dynasty Warriors games (for me, 8 ended this).

With an RPG, the huge pool of characters throws a plethora of ideas into the mix. If anything, Sakurai and Monolith Soft could take a Smash RPG and pick up where Subspace ended in Brawl. That could make for a great game. Not only that, since each character has a finite set of skills, character types won't he that difficult to figure out.

Again, to the OP, the idea posted is rock solid. The issue mainly lies within replay ability for the game itself. Should there be a solution towards maintaining replay ability, I say go for it!

Thanks, and i agree with you, a smash bros RPG maybe would work better and it sounds awsome aswell. I just want more crossovers, because i love the mario kart 8 DLC and hyrule warriors, and yeah Hyrule warriors is a very long game if you want to go 100% but most of that is grinding lol

Nintendogs Warriors

I don't see it happening. It would doubtlessly be fun, but in the long run I think having all of Nintendo's characters in the same game all the time will kind of ruin the excitement when they do. Nintendo shouldn't be doing too many big crossover games.

Yeah,  i guess so. Interesting approach

I doubt this very hard.

I would much rather see Fire Emblem Warriors. It is, IMO, the best suited.

It could work, but I'm not really sure if I would like to see something like this..

Just by adding in a lot of Nintendo characters, it wouldn't really feel right with a hack and slash game but that's just my opinion

well seeing olimar kick SAmus butt in super smash bros is also weird xD but it works, in hyrule warriors there are character without like a sword, so olimar could have his pikmin nas weapons, it still would be a bit of an hack and slash type of game, but i think it could work ^^

Yea, I think it could work out, but I don't think the feel would be as good as in Hyrule Warriors, if you know what I mean..

Sooo Subspace Emissary but...better? I would be down for that since I kinda liked SSE despite its problems.

Though I dunno, the percent thing is kinda integral in Smash and unless if it's somehow in the supposed Smash Warriors, eh. It wouldn't be Smash for me.
