Buy Wonderful 101. So underrated. Unless you just don't like beat em ups, there's no reason not to.

Zombi U is a great concept that is unfortunately riddled with bugs. You can probably get it cheap, so it'll probably be worth it. Just be prepared...

Be sure to support the new Yoshi, avoid Splatoon, and look into Devil's Third.

Ok tthese titles are must buy Wii U titles : DONKEY KONG COUNTRY TROPICAL FREEZE , ITS SO FREAKING AMAZING, and awsome music aswell. Legend of zelda Windwaker HD, mario kart 8, super smash bros Wii U, Super mario 3D world,bayonetta 2 bundle with the first game, pikmin 3, Yoshis woolly world. Here are titles that you should buy after you got those titles : Splatoon, New Super Mario bros U, Kirby and the rainbow curse, Captain toad treasure tracker

Yoshi is awesome, is not mediocre at all.

If you haven't owned it yet, Metroid Prime Trilogy on eshop for $20. One of the best ports for value this gen.

Pikmin 3 makes great use of the Wii controller plus GamePad as well.

Mario Kart 8 simply because the online works so well for most people and dlc is awesome.

Smash 4 is pretty great and the online for 1 v 1 for glory isn't that bad. Get ready to get rekt if you've only been competitively with a few friends though.

Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze is pretty amazing if you enjoy challenging platformers with a huge development budget. Makes New Super Mario U look like an indie game.

3D World is great if you can enjoyed the original Super Mario Bros. games and you're interested in a gameplay like that in a 3D isometric view.

And get Super Metroid on VC if you enjoy the Prime games and wanted a more platforming and 2D adventure. It's 8$ for US but off screen TV, mappable buttons, and accessible save state lets you explore Super Metroid little by little each day and unearth the beautiful masterpiece it is.

There is a bunch of Ubisoft games on sale if memory serves. I'd pick up Child of Light and Cloudberry Kingdom while they are dirt cheap.
