Fiver years old girl fell from a 5 storey window in her home in Colorado Springs on Thursday night. She held unto a Minion toy as she fell and the Colorado Springs police believe it could have helped her cushioned the fall.

Police statement: ""Fortunately, when the child fell out of the window, she continued holding on to a stuffed Minion teddy bear that is believed to have cushioned her fall."

Fortunately the girl was left with just a broken arm.

Sounds like a stroke of luck moreso than anything else. Unless the toy was huge then I doubt it would have made any major difference.

She's only five years old. She was probably leaning over the window, but kids do stupid things. 

A conspiracist may wonder whether the close release date of the Minions film to this accident is way too suspicious and may try to find info on whether there was some Universal Studios employee in Colorado that day.
